Jay, first, if that is the case why have other states (including Texas with Bush signature on the bill) adopted that standard? Second, when was the last time you visited a geriatric ward? We are talking of about maybe 2000 out of a geriatric population there of possibly 200,000, no impossible.

Zeev

In edit, someone get a 2"x4", I just got caught in HAUP at $3 even (one of those impossible bids under the market, the MM must have gone fishing for me), it adds to a losing position of $3-31/32 bought last week.

Jay,
I'm surprised you claim that if Gore wins, he will have "stolen" the election. Even Buchanan said on national TV that he is sure that most of the votes for him in Palm Beach were intended for Gore. That would have been a swing of at least 2,000-3,000 votes, more than enough under the circumstances. Bush is also lucky that Nader was running--92,000 people voted for him. Many of those may have sat out if Nader wasn't in the race, but many would have voted for Gore, I would guess, especially without Ralph's continual "corrupt Democrat" talk.

But don't worry--Bush will probably win in the end, either by the count (most likely, IMO, the Republicans are being really really stupid with their inflammatory rhetoric, which is so unnecessary), by the FL legislature, or the US Congress.
