homework...?,,,and fully agree...

regarding wedges, flags, pennants, triangles, h&s....the prevailing trend wins,,,depending on connotation, time frames etc....but for general purposes you bet...I am a firm believer in support/resistance trading, a meeting of the minds (or not) with price...throw in a dash of volume here and there and the picture is painted whether up or down. For those who haven't studied enuf, and with the prevailing snetiment is to trade from the long, these folks will continue to see failure of TA.

Here's what I interpret on the potential failure of TA...Are fundamentalists now in play, maybe upsetting the balance of the technician, the numerous head fakes ecnountered for either the short or long intended with huge swings intraday not giving value to other frame of reference...who's leading who?...as the technician says, the noise is in the the charts...who's the cause and effect?...

BEAS..here's a stock that i've mentioned several times on pivot points,,,good areas to go long, to short, and if trading intraday, better have the screen open to past several days to see where there may be additional support/resistance...this is applicable to any nasd or listed issue...

what you're describing is exactly what i look for on the long side....sebl, jdsu, scmr, rimm, ctas, luv,...breakdown at such levels become short oppotunites for the most part.

understand, michael that i don't have a beef with the education that you, T, and OJ are sharing as I find it incredibly invaluable for my growth. I will contend the folks you are reaching are of the minority,,,and from those only a minority will survive...And with success or failure of these minority, all will have a deeper appreciation of what it takes to become a better trader...
