We have a very interesting development emerging from the Florida legislature. Some legislators are reminding us that the U.S. Constitution specifically gives the State legislatures the power to define the method of selecting their Electors. In short, the Florida Legislature could thumb their nose at the Florida SC and simply name their own Electors with the full force and power of the U.S. Constitution behind them. As it stands now the Florida SC has usurped the Florida Legislature and imposed their own procedure for selecting the Florida Electors, a clear violation of the U.S. Constitution. Very interesting developments.
