In short, the Florida Legislature could thumb their nose at the Florida SC and simply name their own Electors with the full force and power of the U.S. Constitution behind them. As it stands now the Florida SC has usurped the Florida Legislature and imposed their own procedure for selecting the Florida Electors, a clear violation of the U.S. Constitution.
