<<Now we have 6 Democratic reps and 3 Republican reps along with 2 Democratic Senators, A Democrat Governor, Lt Gov, Atty General, Insurance Commissioner - practically every state wide office except Secretary of State.>>

One good quake and you're under the Ocean.

Hey, Lefty, why not take all the progressive, heavily populated areas on the west coast and expel them from the U.S. Jobs will be leaving that economic paradise ASAP.

There are good people on all sides of every argument but, speaking just for me, I'd rather whack bugs than babies.

Why don't you go start a go Cantwell liberal thread.

See how long it lasts.

Believe it on not, there are many people who have NO desire to be like the liberal west coast.

PS: I am very glad I am "wrong" in YOUR eyes. Praise God.

PPS: I saw an ambulance go by with a 78 Datsun following close behind....was that you?

Kenneth, Not likely. the rest of the country is not so caught up in themselves that they can't identify a self-serving power monger. tp

Yes, Ken, the repubs have not been on the right side of these issues (I'm repub, myself and I agree with you)..unfortunately you are stuck with the democratic baggage of big labor, trial lawyers, crappy Hollywood "entertainment"...soak the rich and spend more on entitlements, fight the drug companies, big oil etal......the head of your party has been a phoney baloney on most of these issues, and as you know, will say whatever it takes to get elected. Quite frankly, regardless of who wins, I'm just glad to get rid of the Clintons

Re: "The rest of the country will soon follow the progressive movement of the West Coast."

I think you're absolutely right. I'm very encouraged by what has occurred in the Great Northwest. GOP cheerleader Michael Cummings, who lives in the Seattle area, had much of this board believing the GOP would sweep Washington state on Nov. 7. He proved about as accurate as Rush Limbo's Portrait of America poll. Ha ha ha.
