You are always behind the curve! Aren't you one of the people that believe The Pilar De Caribe was new Flagship for Olympus Ventures, when it actually sat on the floor of Kingston Bay?

Ellen, so the fact that Gore is using a democratic appointed judicial branch to change and rewrite laws does not bother you at all since it is serving your purpose?

Ellen, with all due respect, you must understand something important. You cannot possibly win an argument about Gore's tactics on the absentee military votes. You can't. There is federal law about what constitutes a legal military vote. But beyond that, and more important, is the entire idea of putting out a 5 page memo outlining how to send attorneys into the fray and challenge absentee military votes. At some point in the future, I hope that you see that in the long run, this is not about two men. It's about ideas of how to run this country, ideas about what is right and what is wrong. Al Gore is wrong on this. You should not argue for him, because he is wrong in every way imaginable.

"...the truth is that Republicans filed lawsuits left and right to stop manual recounts - to disqualifying those."

With chads falling off the ballots every time they were manipulated and with the potential for partisan fraud (from either side) by those involved in the manual recount, why do you suppose the Republicans objected to the manual recount????.

Did it ever dawn on you that given the above problems, the result from a manual recount would be less accurate and not truly reflect the original vote of the people???

And Ellen, does it not bother you that your high-minded hero gore is using the law where it fits, then in cases where "the people's votes have not been counted" law does not matter. Law said to certify by last weekend..that does not matter according to you. Then with the military absentee ballots we MUST FOLLOW THE LETTER OF THE LAW? Then you go examining ballots for intent when a chad was clearly not punched out? If you cannot see the manipulation you are blind to it.
