I don't care if an old bat messes up her vote. I do care if there is an effort to deny members of the armed forces of their right to vote. Hundreds of thousands of young men never had a chance to grow old because they gave their lives for our country. Listen to yourself! What do you think those young men gave their lives for? It's for the right of old bats, as well as the rest of us, to vote, for heaven's sake. Their vote is worth just as much as any serviceman's. If you don't understand that, you don't understand this country. Besides, for all you know, the old bats might have been in military service themselves or lost husbands and sons in war. You don't know anything about them except that they live in counties with Democratic majorities. Get thee to a remedial civics class. Karen
