You can only thank gore for getting us into these uncharted waters. Gore refused to accept the mandatory recount in Florida after the election.

They will not say that the "Florida electoral scheme" is fundamentally flawed. That's absurd. What they will probably do is make a reference to the sanctity of the voters, especially the people that are serving this country in the military. What they might do is say that the Supreme Court of Florida can't change the election laws in Florida after an election and then try to apply the "new" law in retrospect. What they might do is say that they see no evidence that the Secretary of State acted in any way that violated the law and therefore the ruling by the Florida Supreme Court which extended the hand count deadline is not legal since it does not reflect the will of all the people in the entire state, and if Florida feels they need to fix their state election laws, then they should do it as soon as they feel like doing it. What they might do is make it very clear to everyone in the United States that they think somebody is trying to screw with the Constitution, and they won't allow anyone to screw with the Constitution of the United States, no matter who it is or what their political affiliation is.

What they will very probably do is put a cap on the idea that elections are won or lost by attorneys.

Just a guess.
