You can do that! Call your congressman and your senators or email them and tell them to do that!

I appreciate clarification and uniformity in the election process. But what I cannot understand is why Gore chose to put the country through this just so he could be President. I would have had some respect for Gore if he'd accepted the results (as imperfect as they are when almost 100 million Americans vote) and worked for election reform whether he was President or a private citizen. Doesn't Gore know that 100% accuracy in the tabulation of tens of millions of votes is impossible unless you're willing to put the country through hell, like he's doing now.

I appreciate some clarification from the US Supreme Court. This election will cause some reform in the state electoral laws which are in a confused state. We should demand that punch card ballots be eliminated from the process for
future elections and insist on state of the art technology - optical scanners.

Yes you Democrats can demand a lot of new things for the 2004 election because those chads are troublesome. Another demand can be a limit to recounts. You know maybe no more than 3 or 4.

Yes you Democrats can demand (in a civil manner)a lot of new things for the 2004 election because those chads are troublesome. Another demand can be a limit to recounts. You know maybe no more than 3 or 4.
