>>"Tom, did you see where Brian Williams on MSNBC was unable despite many attempts to create a "dimpled chad" with a votermatic...however when 3 or more ballots go in the votermatic..the 2nd ballot creates a "hanging chad" and the 3rd down a "dimpled chad"....interesting don't you think?"<<

I hope to see video of this........ very interesting...... very damning if this process is reaffirmed by other similar attempts to dimple a ballot..... let's give the benefit of doubt for now, but hope that others will give independent, public results that clear this matter up.

Boy,

you really make a good point about the distinction in those willing to speak on behalf of each party.

Yes, I did see Brian Williams in his futile attempt this morning. Did you note how easy it was to make a complete hole.

Absurd, absurd absurd,

Let's just get Sunday night here with Bush winning AGAIN!

CAMan, excellent points
Repubs growing in stature while Dems slipping in stature
US SupCt shocks Boies
Boies misses a KEY POINT
Bush sought US SupCt on basis of due process federal law
NOT on basis of FLorida law, as Boies assesses
big big big distinction
if Dems build their defense before US SupCt on local FL law,
they will get embarrassed and slammed slammed slammed

this case is about FEDERAL DUE PROCESS, a precious staunchly defended underpinning of US Constitution:
changing deadlines after the fact
non-uniform vote standards across counties
Democratic control of canvass boards
selective counties for additional vote production
and all other counties besides PalmBch, Broward unable to produce their own additional dimple votes

if Gore doesnt get denied in dimple creation by Sunday,
I expect all hell to break loose on voter fraud
on signed affadavits coming forward on Palm, Broward fraud
on conspiracy by Dems to deny military absentees

I wish I had seen MSNBC demo of votamatic
or is it a vegematic?

dont worry about Janet Reno
wasnt she called in when Jews and Blacks in Miami were denied their civil rights early last week?

Boies would make a good attorney general, either party

by the way, reports streaming in that WashDC Democrat support is eroding for Gore
he spent all day today talking to Capital Hill Dems
desperation is setting in behind the scenes, imo

<Too much. They appear desperate. The Supreme Court of the US has shocked them.>

I imagine it's clear to the Gore camp that the current process of subjective determination of voter intent, selectively applied in only some counties (in this statewide contest) denies citizens of Florida not residing in those counties equal protection under the law, and likely will not be tolerated by the US Supreme Court.

It appears to me that Gore's actions at this point are designed principally to extricate himself from the mess he has created, but as a martyr to the Democratic Party.
