Tony, there is nothing for the author to blow - this is a research report from Dataquest/Gartner. Not a news story for the author to put some spin on. The bottom line is that the trend looks good for Unix/RISC driven by Internet centric computing that Sun has been talking about for a long time.

using Twisters logic - I guess it just shows that Compaq has a "woeful" market share.

Dear Tony: Many of us here own stock in both companies. Personally I would be delighted if they BOTH do well. Seems to me for sure SUNW has. The point is Europe is apparently a much better market then it is being given credit for lately for US technology. JDN
