Paul's right, Tony. We sure hear a lot more from HP, and
IBM these days about UNIX on RISC and a lot less about the
UNIX killing Windows on Intel, you know?

Not exactly. They ship more servers than any other company in the world.

there is nothing for the author to blow - this is a research report from Dataquest/Gartner.

It sounded like a reporter talking about the Gartner report. Anyway, Intel based server sales are growing quite fast (as are Sun's), if not in Europe, then in the world. If Europe misses the US model for web servers deployment, well, they're blowing it.

Tony. This is a flawed report. There is NO way that Intel servers grew 1% in Europe. No way.
