Elmer, re: The Courts shouldn't be involved in election law, unless* there is such an egregious abuse of power coupled with the violation of Civil Rights that they are compelled to act.* Hypocrisy (The practice of professing beliefs, feelings, or virtues that one does not hold or possess; falseness.) Some folks thought there was a "egregious abuse of power" before by the Florida Secretary of State. You thought it was totally unacceptable for the courts to get involved in election law, period. Now you think there is a "egregious abuse of power", that happens to be in agreement with your position, so it is a wonderful thing that the courts are getting involved. It's pretty obvious that your opinions are not based on principle, but on getting your candidate elected, and your perception of right or wrong will easily shift with Bush's advantage. Is anyone supposed to continue to respect your opinion (which I used to)? John
