I thought I was being really outlandish when I said $40. I guess that was conservative! My feeling though is that Europe will just ignore the US sanctions.

Hey GST-
With all this deep political turmoil, the equity markets absolutely tanking, mideast tensions flaring up, and oil at all time high prices, why would you suppose gold is not posting even a hint of a rally?? It's been absolutely flat for the last month.

If gold does not show signs of life now when would it ever?
