Our US govt has never then and too this day does not treat the Indians well. Yeah.. while being part Cherokee, the caucasian in me takes heart in knowing the various tribes treated one another just as poorly. Most were constantly at war with one another. Regards, Ron

I, in no way condone, the actions of this nation against native American, simply state there were crimes long ago by both sides, & I have no control over history. Not always did the white man win. The Seminoles as well as the Mescalero Apaches WON their wars against the American Government. The Lakota were among the FINEST light cavalry in all of history. .. In our efforts to learn history we must be careful to really learn accurate history and not diminish the greatness of these warriors to suit some misplaced political correctness.
