I have never been to a chiropractor and after hearing that one I think I'll keep it that way!

FWIU, chiropractors officially believe that all human ailments are caused by misalignments. I kid you not. I heard this on one of those weekend health radio shows so take the source into account, though.

IMO a chiropractor can be good for a limited number of problems, such as back/neck injuries, etc. But just like you wouldn't expect a carpenter to fix your plumbing by reframing a door you shouldn't expect a chiropractor to cure disease by adjusting your back.
