Who says a dimpled chad constitutes an intent to vote, anyway? Hmmm? Maybe the voter placed his stylus in the hole next to say, Al Gore, changed his mind and decided not to vote for a candidate at all. It's called a protest vote and has been in practice for decades. With a dimpled or "pregnant" chad, the intent of the voter is unclear.

You are severely misinformed if you think Ft. Lauderdale and Palm Beach are "poor districts." Your argument is quite confusing.

In fact, many heavily democratic geographies in the US are among the most wealthy.
