He's right in questioning our language. There are not "purer" ways of thinking of God--we can use whatever word we like, but it's either God or not God. People who say, "I'm not religious, but I do believe in some cosmic order" are indeed believers in God.

I think he has a good point there. I like his unsparing intelligence...
