Andreas, to go with Tom's flip-flop saga, there's this little bit from Anand's chit-chat column: Luckily I always have at least 3 systems running in the lab, and when I crank up a couple of Athlons the temperature in here becomes very nice indeed, thanks AMD :) The Pentium 4 isn't bad as a space heater either, running SPEC benchmarks on it now will keep the office very warm for the next day or so. (http://www.anandtech.com/index.html#3263 , though I'm not sure if the interior marker is working) Offhand, I'd say that certain local posters may have prematurely celebrated their personal triumph over spec.
