On a lighter note,

Seems Hal hooked me up with a fellow on the ISpec site who has helped tremendously with my Dell/W2K problems. It seems to have been isolated to the Matrox video card.

We have QCharts running here now, but with a bit of jury-rigging. Further, I should download and install the latest drivers for the card. Seems that I have to launch the program while the machine is set up for a single monitor and then bring on the second one. Doing this allows QCharts to run fine.

Now hopefully, the display issues will go away completely when I install the latest drivers. I'm waiting for my son to wake up before I do that, all I need is to do something wrong and be worse off than when I started.

Anyway, it's been two short e-mails and I'm way better off than I've been since the machine was delivered. No one had a similar set up before so no one seemed to get a grasp on the issues.

Now I can finally get this other machine off my table......

Sorry for jumping you - I guess I am in a bit a mood with all this "stuff" Your post was just so full of "ifs" I just can't see how it could ever earn anyone any money. You guys are right I spent no time really looking at what your doing. As far as seeing money dumped into systems etc. I have probably got over $20,000 dollars worth of "systems" sitting in the attic of my garage - thankfully I did not spend all of that loot myself but others did ( belonged to a trading club chuck full of "suckers" ) Some of it is of value and most of it is worthless but all of it was interesting at the time. I wish you "luck" with your "predictions" but I think making money has very little to do with predicting market direction at this point even *IF* it was less vague.
I apologize for dumping on you. I'm getting a little jaded.
