Exactly, which is why the new MSM chip has the SIM interface. You don't think IMJ put that in for Europe did you?<ggggggg>

Your right, the handsets will be like the VOD ones, but still use the same CSM and MSM chipsets.

Well, you are partially right. If you are talking about whether a user want that dual mode ability then you are right. If you are talking about an existing CDMA phone can't talk in a MC-MAP network then you are wrong. The air interface in MC-MAP is still backward compatible with IS-95. However an operator does have the choice to either implement both CDMA-MAP or just MAP only due to performance consideration.
