Unlikely that we shall have one by the end of the night, a President that is. I was detained at a bar by a friend from Delray Beach, I think that is Palm Beach County. A Bush supporter. Had to wait for the 5 EST numbers then he wanted me to wait for the 6 EST numbers..... I'm just not that political. I'm of a mind that this won't be resolved tomorrow. God you cannot imagine how difficult it is out here. I have friends from here and Palm Beach that are Bush supporters. They burn your ears off about the Democrats and Social Security and political intrique, Then I have Demo friends who blast about the repubs (one of them is an Electoral College member), and the intriques of the repubs, The one thing that both sides seem to agree on is that Florida is the second most rigged ballot in the country. As long as it's obscure who may win my Bond position has some life in it, I suppose. ------------------------ Why is it so damn hard to get that thing to stand up straight. Some years back I purchased a tree stand that could hold up an elephant. Cost several bucks, but it holds up a seven footer with no problem. Freakin' thing weighs in at about 20 or 30 pounds. Of course, once I get Killer to bring it up out of the basement and have the kids put up the tree, then have everyone put up the lights and have everyone put up the baubles; well, my job is done. Then the next big task is having everyone take off the baubles..... Well you know. I'm a real busy guy.
