The recount was made as requested by Mr. Gore.

Gore can not be graceful, because he is not.

He promised to concede after the recount, but he will not,
because he is a liar.

He will drag this country through any mud without consideration of the people's welfare, if it is to HIS benefit.

I agree with all you have written but would add that a clear, concise definition be arrived at for "chads" and what constitutes a vote. In my opinion they should disregard any dimples. Either one or two corners broken, and I would lean towards two.

But the resolution you suggest seems very fair. Too bad someone couldn't have found traction for it two weeks ago. I don't see any way they could get there now with the time limitations.

X, one correction: there were at least TWO counties whose manual recounts have been included in the now-certified results: Broward and Volusia.
