Jerry: Thanks for the update. I remain confident that a new president will not assume office until ALL ballots in Florida are counted. If the Florida legislature or U.S. House of Representatives wishes to take matters into their own hands, then they will live with the consequences, and the consequences will be most dire.

Actually that sounds about right. Isn't that what a contest is about. Getting those Miami-Dade ballots counted seems like a reasonable post election request. We need to know if Mr Busch has received enough votes to win Florida. The only one fair way to find out is to recount Miami-Dade manually. Isn't this a typical request when contesting an election. Seems to me we have a winner in Mr Gore.

Gotta give you credit for thinking positive. Here's what really is going to happen:

1) Gore is going to lose public support throughout the week (unless he concedes at some point).

2) The Supreme Court is going to overrule the FL SC decision. Bush will have one via the state's original election laws.
