Harris could have extended the deadline until 9 AM Monday so Palm Beach could have got their count in, but she refused. That is not really a strange occurrence. I think everyone expected it. But, what took Palm Beach so long? Something really is fishy here. Miami Dade should have had their recount completed days ago, but they end up just outside the deadline. The more I think about it the more convinced I become that the GOP orchestrated a deal with the members of the Palm Beach and Miami-Dade canvassing boards. Otherwise it just doesn't add up. Could this be the next set of "dirty tricks" ala Nixon? If my suspicions are confirmed watch out for the Shrub impeachment and the permanent end to the Bush dynasty.
