Hi Larry, You did almost everything right. However, you have to first set the date back before installing Newport. Newport has its own saved date info inside the program, so it will look at the computer's clock for the date at the time of the installation.

So, change the date first, install newport to a new directory, open Newport and add the equities in question. Next, close Newport and reopen while changing the date to the current one. Newport will then prompt you to update your prices on each of the subsequent dates. If you have made trades on any of the interim dates, just enter them making sure that you put in the proper date of the orders.
