Yeah, I think either one of them is nuts for not bowing
out. Between the 'zero factor' and 'zero mandate' this has
got to be really bad timing, at the very least.

Imagine following Bill Clinton's presidency and not neing
compared favorably.

With regard to the Fed: Maybe the market thinks that
Greenspan too has to leave rates alone for a good while
because of the tenuous politicical climate. It could make
for a much more predictable economy (the way the
market likes).

A silver lining.
