Seminole County could be the key to the election.
The GOP clearly over-stepped legal bounds there, according to all I've heard. And it's enough to tip the election. Unless the GOP gets a partisan judge on their side, watch out.

Note that Gore won't touch this Seminole county issue with a 10 foot pole (at least not yet). Let me explain to you what this issue involves. Due to a supplier error the forms that were legitimately requested by repubs showed up without the voter id number. They were requested legitimately, filled out legitimately, but alas there was no id number (due to circumstances beyond the control of the voter).

These numbers were added in later by volunteers. This does not make these ballots illegal. Gore won't touch it (at least not yet) because he would be saying to count votes that did not get counted because of a technicality (the people didn't punch out the chad) on one hand and DON'T count some other ones where there is clear intent of what the voter wanted.

Just so I can understand your position better, do you feel that these votes should be tossed out even though there is no question that they are legitimate and there is no question who these 4,700 voters wanted to vote for?

tia for your response.
