If one watches a broad sampling of FOX news, they will find it the least biased. It must, though, be a broad sampling there are hours & individuals representing everything from the far extremes all the way through the middle.

<<and WHAT exactly is "true balanced media"? There is no such thing. And even if there were you wouldn't recognize it. It would be right of me and far left of you. >>

You might be shocked, but in many ways extreme members of the "Religious Right" finds me a hopeless Liberal. While some of the extreme from the Libertarian camp find my base views favoring what they see as an excess of government.

I'm pro-choice while remaining anti-abortion. While I don't like the idea of early term(only) abortion, I refuse to condemn any woman(or poor couple) to life of poverty from lack of choice or the chosen Hell of raising a child with disabilities beyond their ability to cope.

I can plainly see the war on drugs has been an absolute failure, a total waste of freedom money & time, and added greatly to the pain & suffering of those with terminal disease and the agricultural sector of our economy. I would suggest a sunset(6 years?) trial of fully legal marijuana where at the end of the period, if not acted against by 2/3 majority of Congress it would remain fully legal - and unrestricted - with some level of state or local restriction available!

I want as near absolute, complete, and total freedom as our society can tolerate, with the minimum amount of Federal Government required. From there, I expect lower levels of supervision & restriction at all levels of government!

I support some of the gay rights agenda. That said, I don't want the teaching of homosexual intercourse mandated from the Federal level! I support the freedom of two(Hell, why limit it to 2?) consenting adults to do whatever they wish. I hold no objection against Gay marriage. I do not, though, feel anyone should be forced in any way subsidize the life style choice of any other person! Income taxes should be based only on income - no other factor should be considered Not wedded status, not number of children, not anything. Deductions should be greatly limited! - I really think at the small level of government I would approve, a .005% sales tax would cover it.

I do demand a strong military, this is perhaps the greatest sole reason for having any Federal Government.
