Can I say I'm a trader and a schizophrenic? <g> I had started to build a long term portfolio this fall but, even with using covered calls for partial downside protection, I decided to stay with daytrading and some short term trading (all options) through the beginning of next year. This strategy has worked wonders on my mood swings you so aptly described! I also think we have more downside--a final capitulation sell-off--ahead of us in the not-too-distant future.
