Andreas.... unfortunately when the market in general was on fire, CPQ was in the dumps as a result of poor management. Now that MC seems to have the turnaround in full effect, the market is in the crapper. If the Nas were @ 5000 now, like it was when MSFT was 120, INTC high 70s, DELL 59, CSCO high 70s, and on and on, then CPQ could, imho, possibly be as high as 40. If it's not terrible management, it's market conditions. Hopefully some day CPQ will turn in a great earnings report in a bull tech market and we'll at least see 40 again. When will that be? Your guess is as good as mine. El

I wouldn't blame MC. At that point, ANY tech stock with earnings growth like CPQ's would have a PE of 60. Now, it looks like a PE around 35 is considered high...

This market has really just hurt MC's ability to get the price higher. As the market rights itself, we'll see the stock do better.
