speaking of line sharing, whats the current scenario?

I'd heard the rumor that in cases where an ILEC already has a line leased [eg. a plain old telephone line] that the CLEC can piggyback DSL on this line for cheap since the ILEC is already recieiving its regulated return on the original line costs.

Technically this sounds a bit unbelievable, but after all we do have lawyers involved.

any info about this would be much appreciated.
