Dear Victor: I dont see why party affiliation has anything to do with environment. I belong as a DUES PAYING MEMBER (ie I put my money where my mouth is) of several environmental considered organizations, we have members of both parties I am quite sure. Personally, I think those of us that actually go out into the environment are more concerned with it then those who read about it. I belong to the "tread lightly" organization and the "Nature Conservacy" (I know sometimes conflicting-haha). But, I believe FIRST in HUMANS. I have no problem with responsibly managing our resources for the benefit of all and future generations but I also believe the great outdoors needs to be kept open to all and not restricted to a few privileged persons. If everyone practiced the concepts of "Tread Lightly" believe me this would be one clean place. OK, I will get off my soap box now. JDN
