"If a Miami/Dade recount shows Bush wins by 2000 instead of 700, fine. I will then recognize GWB as the legitimate president of the U.S."

That is BULL!!! There is no count that will satisfy you. No matter how often the ballots are counted, you will always dispute the results until Gore wins. You have gone from hanging chads to dimpled chads to pregnant chads to aborted chads. Soon you will argue that anyone who simply screwed a chad really intended to vote for Gore.

Oh....BTW, I heard of millions of voters who really voted for Bush but think they checked-off Gore. They too are demanding for recounts.

If Gore is so concerned about every vote, why is he interested in only three counties, in only one state? There were hundreds of thousands of "undervotes" around the country. We haven't heard a peep out of him about the rest. Oh, it's not about him, is it?

Sure I get it. Doing more counting in miami/dade wouldn't give us a fair full result. Counting everywhere Gore is requesting and challenging, wouldn't give a full fair result for the state of Fla. That being the case, since he isn't seeking something full and fair even still, this is a waste of time.

Freedom works,

If Gore truly wanted Florida to "count all of the votes", as he preached last night, he could have easily made that part of his contest. But no, he doesn't want ALL the votes counted, does he?
