I started trying to verify some of points in the article, but really don't have the time for it. I did find one article that mentions Bush working for Barrick as a special advisor. I would assume he got this position by scratching Barrick's back at some point. I will see what else I can dredge up if I some more time later. It strikes me as suspicious that Clinton is rapidly closing off public lands to mining, logging, etc as his term nears completion while Bush was allegedly giving away public lands to Barrick as his term neared completion. Are the democrats trying to maliciously close off some past Republican money makers as GWB prepares to take office? All I know is that special interests suck as average Americans are robbed over again for the benefit of the few. utoronto.ca
