PT, I am not long oil. In fact, I'm on my wife's case to dump her Landcruiser because it's a guzzler. I am installing alternative energy systems on our new house. I didn't vote Bush or Gore. However, Gore is claiming that hand counts are mandatory. They are not. He was given leeway by Democratic canvassing boards after he threatened legal action against Dade. He's still not happy. He is selfish and crooked. He's gotten away with bending the law for so long that he believes in his mind that he is justified in doing so in this instance. Yes, Bush is in many instances no better. However, in this instance Bush is more right than Gore, FWIW.
