Re: says Drew Peck, an analyst at S. G. Cowen Securities, based in Boston. "I'm not worried about this quarter. It's the first quarter [of next year] that I think is going to be frightening. We're looking at a weakening of seasonal demand and extra capacity. The net result is going to be a thrashing of pricing and a reduction in margins," he predicts.

Does this mean if INTC comes anywhere close to the current estimates for Q1 2001 than Peckerhead will zip up his fly and stop spewing his body waste over this stock? Or will he simply move his dire predictions out another quarter? I tell you if the fed removes its rate bias, this market and the economy will take off. That environment, combined with INTC's rapid ramping of P4 volumes and a healthy marketing campaign will drive volume for the next 12 months.

I will save this article and send it to peckerhead after Q1.
