>>>>It is still not clear that any law was violated.....<<<

That's OK, one of Bush Sr's boys will take care of it.

From reading the law that covers this it is very clear to me that there was a direct and willful violation of it. I doubt much will come of it but if I was the judge I would not cancel all 15,000 ballots in that county. Nor would I cancel 4,700 votes which I think is the number of ballots in question. I would have a clerk sample about 500 republican ballots and see what percentage of them voted for Wimp Jr. Say for instance 90% of the republicans voted for Wimp Jr the I would deduct 10% from the 4,700 ballots that were illegally tampered with and cancel the rest. You can't be any more fair than that , can you?

Thank you for your final ruling, magistrate. Seems the republican operatives tried to cure a lot of "problems" in this Florida election. In most unorthodox ways.

Whoever the president is, they'd better be "priced to perfection", 'cause once they aren't, there will be plenty of people out there in the real_world to remind us of how he got there and why he shouldn't be (no matter who wins) ........

You're deluding yourself if you think otherwise.

Neocon, you can't be sure a problem didn't also exist on the Democratic side. The below references, if you read them carefully, describe a situation in Seminole County where a Republican wife received her Republican ballot in the mail, but her Democratic husband did not. This is telling evidence the judge sitting in this case will not be able to ignore.

Against the absentee ballot controversy in the '97 Miami mayoral race, the current crtieria for absentee ballots in Florida is extremely stringent. In fact, it's this stringency which caused problems with the military absentee ballots; not any effort on behalf of the Gore campaign as GOPwinger pundits have continually distorted in the media.
