I graduated from high school in '67 while the stock market was surging. In '68 the principal of the school quit to become a stock broker after about 25 years as a teacher and administrator. It was a sure sign of a market top. I can remember parents commenting at the time,
"Boy, I sure hope he knows what he's getting into!"

By '71 he was back to teaching.
