I am amazed at continued strength in SELX and NYA. Yes, they are starting to invalidate bearish patterns, although i could give a ratz-azz about SELX -- rummy! -g

On intradays, the first crack at the NDX DT from the Monday gap open failed. Not surprisingly. I faded it and got out for a Bud. Yes, I am being cautious. Looks as though the move off today's low might be rolling now -- as long as we get a higher low we should make another run at that DT line from Monday and it'll be easier the next time since, of course, the line will be lower in the future.

Banks and insurance are rocking again... What are they trying to tell us?

Which we shouldn't be surprised with. Yesterday was the day for bears to take some winnings off the table. Once this election crap is over maybe we can nose down again.

One other thing to keep in mind is that shorting has entered the lexicon of J6P. I don't know how this is going to work out, as we all know the obverse side of buy and hold doesn't work for $hit unless you have a real wounded dog. I think a lot of newbies to the short game are getting skinned alive. -ng-

<<Dow essentially looks bullish now>>

Yep. Covered WMT. May cover MBI. I'll hang on to the brokers a while, they've got some interesting 'splaining to do in their preannouncement/earnings release hullaballoos...
