I sold all these POS a few days ago and put my money into
tech leaders.

No bottom fishing. Period.

What about EGRP for bottom fishers? $21 AXP buyout rumor on Jagnotes!

As much as we may like to bad mouth Etrade, they are the third largest electronic broker and are pretty cheap right now. I think this stock can go back up to 15 by Jan even with no buyout. But then in this market anything can happen.

Any thoughts?

Good luck out there

Brian

yep.. and everyone i mentioned is down again today.. but I'm still buying (or was) and holding these..

unless we truly are going into some deep depression they will go higher because even in a mild recession.. the fact remains: optical and networking sectors will continue to experience strong growth over the next 3 to 5 years

OUCH! NASD hit 2571 this morning.. I don't think that'll be the bottom either because each time the market falls this quickly.. it just prompts more margin calls.. and that pushes us down even further.. and STUPID analysts keep coming out and downgrading stocks (as though NOW is the time to sell... how stupid do they think we are.. if they were trying to HELP US out they'd have downgraded all stocks back in September)

Here... I'm an analyst: I'm downgrading EVERYTHING! OH LOOK! The NASD is way down today! See how smart I am!
When the market recovers and all these stocks double from their current levels, I'll upgrade them all to buys.
Oh, and while I'm downgrading today, I'm actually secretly buying all kinds of bargains at these ridiculous prices
