What are they getting a decent return on outside of natural gas stocks and some oil service and energy stocks? This economy has been devastated. Do they need to see the numbers in black and white during the first half of 2001 before they wake up? Sentiment was still bullish last week while many of the Polys and day traders cut back on their spending and prepared to return to their old line of work. Given your argument, it makes no sense any longer to manipulate gold to the downside. Why should it be done at this point? There is nothing to prove any longer. Goldilox is dead and growth is dying a slow death.
