Are you open to the argument that the tortured logic of Roe/Wade, which found a Constitutional right to absolute privacy for this one hyper specific human activity and no others, endangers the legitimacy of the whole document?

RE: religion was responsible for the crusades and millions upon millions of deaths over the years

It was not religion, but religious fanatics. Just as fanatical Darwininsts, Stalin, Hitler and Pol Pot, are responsible for the deaths of at least 100 million.

Re: What would you have said about American society during slavery?

Reaping and sowing are woven into Moral law. Slavery was a great injustice, the affects of which still plague our country. We hve reaped the fruits of Slavery, and it is bitter indeed.

RE: Is an unborn, undeveloped fetus a citizen at 2 weeks after conception

Yes. If you accept the premise that a human is nothing but a mass of atoms, then you would say no. I do not accept this premise, therefore I do not accept the conclusion.

RE: Legal abortion (in some form) is an ugly necessity in our society

There is a big difference between tolerating and promoting. Were women properly informed of the emotional consequences as well as the greatly increased chances of Breast Cancer and Infertility, most would choose not to have an abortion. In most circumstances, the best choice for the long-term health of the mother is delivery and not abortion. But you won't hear that in the news.
