John...I wrote to AMD about the Gateway warning. Obviously they didn't say anything substantial. But they seem to be sticking so far with their previous guidance. Pretty vague, and his name Jason S.E. doesn't sound familiar. Petz John, I'd be pretty surprised if Toni said anything about previous guidance. Here's what she wrote back to me yesterday: AMD will announce financial results on Jan 16 after the market closes. I am unable to comment on guidance. The new SEC disclosure regulations require that we make the same information available to everyone at the same time. To respond to your outlook question would constitute an update, which would require that I issue a press release. If there are new material developments, the company will make it public at that time.
