Kenneth, whether you realize it or not, that is exactly what Gore is trying to do.

Have a good one.

Democrats should weigh cost of prolonged challenge

11/30/2000

It's time, Democrats. The moment is at hand for the Democratic Party to
save itself by sacrificing one of its own. Even as polls show that a
growing number of Americans hold Vice President Al Gore largely
responsible for the legal circus in the Sunshine State and believe that the
Democratic nominee should concede defeat, Mr. Gore seems to have
settled into the bunker.

We shouldn't be surprised that a man who has pursued the presidency so
hard for so long and feels so entitled to the office would have so much
difficulty accepting defeat. Mr. Gore, who told a Newsweek interviewer
earlier this year that he would "do anything" to win the high office, has
lived up to his word.

Given that Mr. Gore has assured members of his party that he is
prepared to fight the battle for Florida until his last breath, it is now the
Democrats' turn to decide what they are prepared to do. Are they
prepared to stand by their man until the last dog dies? Are they prepared
to risk the political gains of the last eight years by alienating millions of
voters they might need in the 2002 off-year election? Are they prepared
to let one man's obsession with winning the presidency further tarnish a
political party that should be larger than any one man?

As an attorney you honestly believe those votes were not counted or are you just going to do anything to get aLGORE elected?

They were counted 3 times. How can you be so intellectually dishonest?
