Pravin,
Your post is almost surrealistic. While most everyone stays on topic, discussing Palominos and P4s, Rambus and DDR...

A bozo who won't quit, drags the markets into the dumper...
AMD loses nearly a third of its value in 3 weeks...after losing over 1/2 from its all time highs because some fund managers decide to take profits.
Nothing to do with the roadmap, the Palomino, the L2 cache or the 760 chipset...
Unreal...

Jim

Pravin - RE: "Palomino speculation on The Register"

That article lists just about all the rumors surrounding Palomino's enhancements. Its like after the Athlon came out AMD decided to enhance the Athlon to compete with the Willy, not knowing how bad a performer the Willy would be on current software. With Palomino they will have (positively) overshot and a 1.5GHz Palomino might be performance competitive with a 2GHz P4. While that sounds good, GHz still matters and I hope they don't fall .5GHz behind Intel.

I long for a Palomino in my computer. ;)
