TA I suspect Pat is right on this one. If the Florida legislature does exercise its right, and that ends up pre-empting the voter's choice, (whatever that is), and the legislation is signed into law by Bush's brother, there will be a very negative reaction.

OFF TOPIC: TA: Gotta go with Pat, too. Worst case scenario is for TWO slates of electors to be vying for legitimacy. Yikes. That would clearly be a constitutional crises. I'd be shocked if that happens, though. I'm hoping the Supreme Court leaves no doubt as to how to proceed from here.
