By the way, many pension funds and the like close their books today.

Peter, I know I can be an argumentative S.O.B. but...I recall Marty Zwieg stating in mid-October that he felt a huge NASDAQ rally was imminent since CY mutual fund tax-related transactions (i.e. selling) had to be completed during that period. I would be wary of any approach based on supposed institutional tax-related strategies.

BTW, Harold Stassen has volunteered to serve as acting president until the dust settles (Alfred E. Newman, VP).

You say 'Mutual funds and pension funds close their books in November'? Where do you get this, please? October is my understanding.
