I feel sympathy for AMD shareholders. I am also hurting. Am I the only one feeling the pain? I am trying to ease the pain by listening to Celine Dione singing the title song from "Titanic".

Is anybody else in this boat with me?

I'm in a Cisco-Craft, listening to Sammy Hagger sing, "I Can't Drive 55"

Disagree. Election uncertainty is preventing any kind of meaningful rally from beginning imo. I will take a dead cat bounce at this point. Folks dont want to go to their wallet and buy stock or gateway computers for that matter when the Presidency is up in the air. If the SC rules for Bush and this ends watch the rally that ensues and then tell me it didnt matter. If Gore somehow wins, market may not ever go up much under the circumstances in which he could win.

Mary, re: Am I the only one feeling the pain?

Definitely not! I feel the pain, too. My losses are all on paper of quality stocks, but this market doldrum seems to drag on forever. I've been through this before, but that doesn't help much. Seems like the election dragging out makes it worse. We just gotta stay the course.

I'm listening to "A box of rain" (Grateful Dead).

greg

ps: I've also learned that it is best not to listen to non-stop market reports (or election reports, for that matter) a la CNBC, CNN. Just drives me crazy!
