What was bugging me was the way people were bad-mouthing the Florida Supreme Court over something that did not involve them. But it's not surprising to learn that the erroneous affidavit was presented in one or more of the lower courts. I've been amazed at the number of mistakes lawyers have been making in this mess, even going back to the first week after the election, when everyone seemed "surprised" to learn that Florida statutes contain a certification deadline.
